Beirut, Lebanon – Majid Al Futtaim Properties, the leader in ownership, development and management of shopping malls together with and complimentary mixed use projects in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA), will be hosting a special Career Day, on Saturday, November 3, 2012, seeking to recruit competent and valuable assets to join their team at the City Centre Beirut. Set to open in the first quarter of 2013, City Centre Beirut is currently under development and will be one of Lebanon’s largest shopping and entertainment destinations.

As host of this special career fair, Majid Al Futtaim Properties hopes to provide a unique forum for a variety of businesses and retail brands to promote their exciting career opportunities in fields such as retail, entertainment, food and beverage and the mall itself.  From entry level positions to management roles, there are over 1,000 job vacancies open. . “We believe that this initiative will be a positive collaboration between City Centre Beirut, its retailers and Lebanese residents, who eagerly await the opening of this exciting new destination,” stated Sleiman Mallat, Senior Mall Manager at City Centre Beirut.

Career Day will take place between 10:00 am and 10:00 pm, November 3rd, in Pavillon Royal in Biel. As part of this event, many multinational companies, which will be operating within the City Centre Beirut, will also be present to meet potential candidates and assess their qualifications. 

“Career Day is one of many events Majid Al Futtaim Properties plans to implement which aim to build and further strengthen relationships with the Lebanese community,” added Mr. Mallat.

This initiative is part of Majid Al Futtaim Properties’ overall corporate strategy to provide continuous support and engagement with the surrounding communities in which they operate.
